How to REPACK in non homogeneous units (e.g. 60 kg bag in 10 + 50 kg bags)
Repack in non homogeneous units
e.g. repack of 1 bag with 60 kg into 1 bag with 10 kg + 1 bag with 50 kg
start as usual: “search + select stock”, select your lot and click on “internal orders - create repack order”
Edit the quantity + weight and click on "ok"
Choose your unit and type in the same net weight, then click on "ok"
Go to “edit” if the customer lot needs to be edited
Proceed as usual: Create work order - Warehouse orders – confirm – warehouse journals (see article: How to do a REPACK order?)
ATTENTION:
you need to display the warehouse lot numbers otherwise you won’t be able to differentiate between the lots: go to “inventory (1)” – dimension display (2)" – put a checkmark on warehouse lot number – "SAVE SETUP - ok"
Go to "Warehouse lots (header) – new warehouse lot" – fill in a reason (if there are not reasons available, create a new one with right mouse click – view details) – fill in the health status and click on "ok"
Proceed as usual: new – select your 1st lot – fill in the first bag information: in our example: 1 bag 50 kg; select your 2nd warehouse lot – fill in the information: in our example 1 bag 10 kg
Fill in package tare weight
click on "post" and fill in a reason code (if none available, create one with right mouse click – view details)
After posting, you can see your repacked bags in "search + select stock"
