How to RELOCATE a STORAGE CONTAINER?

- You need to select all warehouse lots stored in an individual storage container!
- The entire content of the container will be relocated into the new warehouse location/s!

Storage container with multiple warehouse lot lines
- After selection of the entire content of the storage container in the Edit Quantity and weights –form,
select the new terminal of destination:

- A new internal order booking (type relocation) is being created and opens up automatically.
- Create the expected work order (type relocation).

- Plan and confirm the warehouse order according to the requirements and to the destination terminal.
- Confirming the warehouse order for a specific Terminal/Storage zone will automatically create a transport order for the affected storage container.
- The transport order can be found in the form:
Maritime logistics → Transports → Transport orders storage containers

- The transport order / freight letter can be printed via the Print-Button
- (You can add additional information onto the document via Instructions if needed.)

- A local container transport is being created in parallel: Maritime logistics → Terminal → Local container transport

- The movement of the container between the terminals is controlled via the buttons Start / End transport.
This will also change the status of transport order storage container.

- The movement of the container can also be tracked in the history of the container in the form:
Maritime logistics → Inquiries → Storage container overview

- The stripping of the container will be done via the warehouse journal of the relocation order.
It can be reached via:
- the warehouse order of the relocation
- or the transport order storage container (Local transport details -Tab → Warehouse order -Button)

- Please note: the warehouse journal is only available if the storage container is at the designated terminal at that moment!

- Please note: you need to post exactly the entire amount of the storage container into the new warehouse.
No differences in quantity or weights accepted!
- After posting of the warehouse journal, the relocation order status should switch to completed.
- The status of the storage container will switch from full to empty in the storage container overview.

- If you need to relocate the empty storage container to an empty depot (e.g. Pier B or SPH), you should do this via the Create local transport –Button on the storage container overview.
- Select and confirm the designated empty depot. This will create another transport order in the transport order storage container –form (Print document available there if needed).
- Relocate the container and close the transport order again via the Local container transport –form → Start/End transport –Buttons.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
-
Please note: if you have a storage container with multiple warehouse lot lines, please be aware of the fact that you need to post all of the individual lines to the new location/s with expected quantity and weights in order to complete the internal order!

- Please note: if you pick stocks from a storage container for a release or a blend order, the system will create a relocation order automatically to the designated terminal upon confirming of the warehouse order. An Infolog pops up:

- If the container contains multiple warehouse lots in these scenarios, the system will create automatically one warehouse order per warehouse lot!
You will need to post these warehouse orders one by one in order to complete the relocation order destined for the release/blend!
