How to STUFF a CONTAINER?
There are 2 ways to stuff a container:
1. you create the outbound booking first and select the stock afterwards
or
2. you select your stock first and create the outbound booking afterwards
The advantage with the 2nd possibility is that you check your stock first if everything you need is available before creating the booking. So if the stock you are looking for is not available, you would not have spend time on creating the outbound booking.
Select the affected stocks via the Search and select stock – form.

Edit the quantity and weights.
Select the work type Stuff container and confirm.

The creation form for outbound bookings pops up upon confirmation with an allocated booking number.
Enter all the required and known information and create the outbound booking.

Plan and confirm the warehouse order accordingly. Hand out the warehouse/work order papers to the warehouse workers.
If transport responsibility and requirements are involved in the booking, create the transport order:
-
Empty container pick up from depot to the Vollers warehouse loading address,
-
Loaded container from Vollers warehouse to the sea terminal.

Edit information and instructions for the transport order if applicable.

To close down the transport order and gate in the container for the stuffing process, go via the Receive empty container-Button on the outbound booking overview.
If no transport requirement/responsibility is involved within the booking, you will need to confirm the arrival/gate in of the empty container via the Receive (no transport)-Button.

If the container has never been at a Vollers Terminal before, you will need to “create” the container via the Create new container-Button: enter the Prefix and the number to do so!

Enter additional and required information on the ‘Gate in’-form and confirm the arrival of the container. (This action will close down the empty container leg - transport order).
The container will now be able for the stuff container process in the created warehouse order.
The warehouse order should display the recently gated in container number on line level right now.
(If this should not be the case, you have the possibility of manually assigning the container via the ‘Assign container’-Button.)
Proceed via the Stuff container-Button to confirm the loading of the goods into the container!
In case of a reweighing of the goods before loading, manually correct the gross and net weight with the figures from the weighing ticket.
Check the ‘Selected’-Checkbox and confirm the loading of the goods via the Apply changes-Button. (This action can still be undone for corrections)

The determinative posting of the stuff container will be done via the Post stuff container-Button!
You can specify additional information like seal numbers, cargo remark and the date/time of issue for the posting of the container.
After confirmation, the Buttons Assign container, Stuff container and Post stuff container will be greyed out and no longer available.
The process for the stuffing of the container has been completed with this action.
In case of transport responsibility the freight letter/transport order will now display the stated weights and information from the warehouse order!
The end of warehousing of the goods and the transport of the container will be closed via the Consignment gate out-Button of the warehouse order. Enter the related information for the loading/transport of the container into the form
Be careful: the date of the field ‘Loading completed’ is the most import one, because it determines the end of the warehouse rent for the goods!
