Multifactor Authentication (MFA) - Set up for out-of-office access
Please note: to be able to access Vollers ressources from out of the Vollers network a special permission is needed. If you do not have this permission, setting up MFA will not suffice. If needed, please request this permission via your superior and request it at Vollers GIT.
There are two realiable ways to set up MFA at Vollers. They only differ in the method you are authenticating:
1. MFA via Microsoft Authenticator
- open https://aka.ms/setupmfa in a browser on your PC or Notebook
- Login with your @vollers.com account and the corresponding password
- Click "Add sign-in method"
- In the drop down chose "Microsoft Authenticator"

Click next and then you'll see the QR code:

- On your Vollers smartphone, the Microsoft Authenticator should be installed.

add an account and choose "Work or school account"
- Grant necessary access to the app by following the advices on screen and scan the QR-Code mentioned above.
- Confirm that the account will be added.
- On your PC / Notebook browser with the QR code click next and approve it on your mobile device.
- On your PC / Notebook add your mobile phone number to the Step 3: In case you lose access to the mobile app area and click Next and finish.
2. Without the PC / Laptop
- On your Vollers smartphone, the Microsoft Authenticator should be installed.

add an account and choose "Work or school account"
- then chose "Sign in"
- sign in with your @vollers.com account



- Click "Next"
- Then pair your account with the app:

- The account will be added to the Microsoft autheticator app
- Open the brwoser again and click "Next"
- The you should see:

- Confirm the MFA and after that you've successfully registered the Microsoft Autheticator App:
