SPAM - FortiMail User Manual
- To block as many spam emails as possible Vollers has implemented an email filter called "Fortimail"
- This moves suspicious emails to an email quarantine before they are received
- If one of your incoming emails has been quarantined, you will be notified at the next specified time
- It can happen that a normal e-mail is moved to the quarantine section
- If an e-mail you need does not arrive in your inbox, you can forward it to your inbox using the description below
- If the email is not in your personal quarantine either, please contact
it-servicedesk@vollers.com
Every e-mail in the quarantine will be automatically deleted after 28 days!
Quarantine Summary
- You will receive a “Quarantine Summary” at specified times (Mon-Fri, 06:00, 12:00, 16:00 GMT +1) if a new e-mail has been moved to your personal quarantine
- It is an email from release-ctrl@fortimail.com with subject "Quarantine Summary: ..."
- Only the latest emails in your personal quarantine are listed in the quarantine summary
- If an email was incorrectly moved into your personal quarantine you can release the e-mail by clicking the envelope/green tick icon

Direct access to personal quarantine
- If you don't want to wait for your Quarantine Summary, you can also log in directly to the web interface of your Personal Quarantine
- Open the link https://gw4189.fortimail.com/m/webmail/
- Login with your e-mail address and Vollers password
- After logging in, you will see all e-mails in your Personal quarantine
- There you can block senders, delete or view e-mails or forward them to your mailbox
Forwarding of needed e-mails to your mailbox
- Mark all required e-mails that you want to forward to your mailbox
- Click on "Release"
- The e-mails will take up to five minutes to appear in your inbox or junk mail folder of your Outlook
- The sender is also added to your personal "Safe List"
Adding senders to your personal "Block List"
- If you want to block certain senders completely, just add them to your personal "Block List"
- To do this, select an email from that sender
- Then click on "More" and "Block List"
- If this sender sends you an e-mail again, Fortimail will no longer notify you and the e-mail will be deleted immediately
