V-SSPR: Password reset and account unblock (Self service)
When you need to reset your password or unblock your account visit the self service password reset portal: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
you can enter it via a colleagues PC (because your account is blocked) or via a smartphone.
You need to have a working multi factor authentication (MFA) works with all supported MFA methods: text message to phone number, phone call or code from authenticator app:

1. Reset password
Open https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

Enter your Vollers mail address and fill the captcha. Click next to proceed.

Chose first option to reset your password

Confirm one of your multi factor (MFA) methods and fulfill the MFA request. You can chose to receive a text message to your Authentication number or use the Authenticator app. In this example text message is chosen, so the phone number has to be confirmed.

Enter the 6 digit one time code to reset your password.

Enter a new password. The password must comply with the current requirements:
- at least 8 digits
- 3 of the 4: lower case, upper case, numbers, special characters
- not containing prohibited words (vollers, your name, breached / easy to guess passwords, your last 5 passwords)

your done, password was reset.
2. Unblock your account
Open https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

Enter your Vollers mail address and fill the captcha. Click next to proceed.

Chose second option to unblock your account

Confirm one of your multi factor (MFA) methods and fulfill the MFA request. You can chose to receive a text message to your Authentication number or use the Authenticator app. In this example text message is chosen, so the phone number has to be confirmed.

Enter the 6-digit one time passcode received to unblock your account.

All done, you can sign in again.
