Company Portal
On every Client (Desktop or Notebook) centrally managed the Vollers General IT via Microsoft Intune we provide you the Company Portal. The Company Portal is a Vollers branded Windows "app store" via which applications are provided.
In addition to the default software installed on each device according to the specific requirements, we provide some IT approved, secure and useful software that is not mandatory but helps at least some users at Vollers.
The great advantage of the Company Portal for everyone involved is that it can be installed without administrative rights. This is good for you because you can get to your application quickly without waiting and without a ticket. For general IT, this also offers the advantage that the software only has to be checked and "installed" once and it can then be used by any number of users.
To access the Company Portal, simply type "Company Portal" in the start menu of windows and open the application:

Click on it once to open the Software
This portal uses a single logging, this means, that usually you will not be asked for your login credentials.
In case of a login query, which can happen if you try to open any Windows Office or Windows Store application the first time after reinstalling Windows, you can simply log in with your daily used Vollers login data which normally contains your mail address and your domain password.
-Open the app and tap Sign in.
-Enter the email address associated with your Vollers business account (usually your mail address), and then tap Next.
-Enter your password, and then tap Sign in.
Wait while your credentials are verified by the app. After this process is completed, you can access the features in the app and your organization's resources.
Find your Apps
After you’ve opened the portal, you should see the following window

All the apps you see there are checked by the IT department and approved for your use at Vollers. You can browse all featured apps here or have a look at which apps have been released recently.
You will find a search field in the upper left corner of the window, in case the app you are looking for does not appear for you at first site, just type in what you search for and hit the enter button:

Your search results can be filtered with additional filters on the right side of the window.
Over there you can also change to list view.

There may be software for which you need another release or license to use it. If you notice an app that you would like to use, but do not have a license for, we’ll ask you to submit a request to IT-ServiceDesk via your chairperson. Please find the mail address in the Help & support category.

Install your app
When you’ve found the software you need, just click on the button once to open the information page of the app.

You can now install the app via the button on the upper right side of the window (CTRL is the shortcut). If the software is already installed, you have the option to reinstall it. Depending on how big the software is it could take several minutes up to hours to install it.

Apps are assigned to you by your Vollers GIT Department in Bremen. Your organization will tell you to install some apps in any case, whereas other apps are optional for you to use. To find out which apps are required, and which are optional, go to Installed Apps and look in this column.
Optional Apps: These apps are selected by your organization and are appropriate and useful for your work. They are provided to you, but it is up to you if you want to install them. These are the only type of apps you will find in the enterprise portal for installation.
Required Apps: These apps are required for work and are installed directly on your device. These apps are automatically installed for you without any intervention.
You also have access to certain apps depending on your device type. For example, if you use the Enterprise Portal app for Windows, you have access to Windows apps, but not iOS apps.

-Status
