add a printer to Remotedesktop (AVD) and add a label printer to AX

Open the Remotedesktop app and there open the Explorer app

label printers: In path field write \\btdrz01

(see below to aff the label printer to AX!)

normal printers: In path field write \\prtrz01

Then double klick on the printer you need and it will be installed:

add label printer to Dynamics AX

In order to connect the newly added label printer to your Dynamics AX user settings for label printing, go to File – Tools – Options. (see screenshot below)

Scroll down to "Label printer settings".
printer name: Select the newly installed btdrz01 label printer in the dropdown list for “Printer name”.
Active: Activate the checkbox for “Activate”.
BarTender Printer: Select the “Printer name” (\\btdrz01\PRINTERNAME) and copy/paste it. Close the user settings. The setup has been completed.
