Adobe Acrobat Sign (Outlook Add-In)
For authorized users, the Adobe Acrobat Sign Add-In is provided in Outlook.

The Add-In can be accessed from the Outlook menu bar as long as you are in the "Start" tab:
The Add-In provides three ways to use Adobe Sign within Outlook:

1. fill and sign
2. send for signing
3. agreement status
Regardless of which function you choose, you must log in to your Adobe account when you first open it:

Due to the link to the Vollers account, this should happen automatically as far as possible; if necessary, the mail address or the password (identical to the one used for the PC login) must be entered:

After successful login, the add-in can be used.
1. filling and signing
The function picks up file attachments from the currently opened e-mail:

Additional files can be added manually. Click on "Continue" to start the signing process:

The attachments are then uploaded to Adobe Cloud and prepared for signing, which takes different amounts of time depending on the file size. The file can then be signed. Text boxes and symbols are also available:

The initials for the signature must be added once, but can be customized at any time. Ready-made fonts, drawings or scans can be used here:

The digital signature can then be used. The size can be flexibly adjusted:

With the other tools, texts can be filled in or added, or checkboxes can be agreed to or rejected. Clicking Done saves an edited, signed version in the Adobe Cloud:

It is important to note that the signed file is not sent to a recipient at this moment, but only to the Adobe Cloud. Then the file can be viewed, copied, or sent:

Send, as the most interesting item, opens a new mail to the original sender, attaches the file just signed and inserts a text box generated by the add-in, but it can be removed or edited:

2. send to sign
Is quasi the counterpart to 1. Via this function I can send a file for signature without the recipient having to open it as described in 1. Instead, I as the sender already prepare everything for the recipient and he is directly prompted for the signature:

Via Further options, further actors can be added in addition to me as creator and the recipient, e.g. second verifier:

Afterwards, the file is prepared and uploaded again and can be prepared because the "Show preview and send" check mark was set:

Using the tools on the right edge of the screen, different information can thus be requested from different people, so that even complex forms can be created. Files such as the Excel used here as an example are automatically converted into PDF files.Once editing is complete, the document can be sent for signature:

3. agreement status
Open and closed documents that have been sent or received for signature can be viewed here. It is an access to the documents in Adobe Cloud which are sorted chronologically.
