Log in to One Drive
If you do not have any accounts logged into OneDrive. This should not be the case by default, since we enforce the logins via policies.
If you don't currently have an account registered with OneDrive, use the following instructions to start OneDrive.
- Select the Start button, search for "OneDrive", and then open it as follows:
- In Windows 10, select OneDrive.
- Under Windows 7: Under Programs, select the Microsoft OneDrive entry.
- When the OneDrive setup starts, enter your business account and select Sign In.

Important points in OneDrive Setup
In OneDrive Setup there are two screens where you can monitor the following:
- On the This is your OneDrive folder screen, select Next to accept the default location for your OneDrive files.
If you want to change the location of the folder, select Change Location. This is the best time to make this change.
- On the All Your Files, Ready and On-Demand screen, you can see how files are marked to show as online only, local, or always available.
With Files On-Demand, you can access all your files on OneDrive without having to download them and take up space on your Windows device. Select Next.
View and manage OneDrive files
Everything is ready. Your OneDrive files will appear in File Explorer in the OneDrive folder.
A new white or blue cloud icon (or both) is now visible in the notification area, and your work files are synchronized with your computer.
If you move the mouse cursor over the icon, it will be displayed as OneDrive - VOLLERS GROUP GmbH.
Note: Contoso is an example name - yours is VOLLERS GROUP GmbH.
Whenever you want to change the folders you sync on your computer, right-click the cloud icon in the notification area of the taskbar and select Settings > Account > Select Folder.
Find more information about your account, and change other OneDrive settings from here. However, you should already have these options set correctly and managed by IT.
