Report stolen devices
If a device provided by Vollers is stolen, lost or destroyed, this must be reported immediately to IT and the line manager.
Particularly in the event of suspected theft, no avoidable delay should be allowed, as Vollers may be obliged to report this incident.
The following procedure therefore applies in the event of suspected theft:

Within the working week, IT must be informed immediately by calling the hotline. The line manager must also be informed. IT will then take all further steps.
At weekends or on public holidays, a report must be made independently to the police and reported to IT and the line manager as soon as possible.
In the event of loss or defect, IT must be informed as soon as possible, who will then give further instructions and initiate further steps.
