What is ITEM TRACING? How to see the history of a warehouse lot?
A customer asks you for some details to a certain warehouse lot or there are some discrepancies for a lot and you need to check the history or for whatever reason, you can simply go to "item tracing".
There are 2 ways to do so - via "search and select stocks" or "inbound bookings".
1. via "search and select stocks"
Go to Maritime Logistics - Common - Search and select stock (1) and type in your search criteria (2)
Now select the line and go to the header to click on "item tracing"
The entire history of the lot will be displayed.
ATTENTION: Please put a checkmark at "show suppressed", so all internal transfers will also be displayed (e.g. relocations (of storage containers))
If you would like to get more details to a particular booking, you can select the line and go to "open origin"
The original booking will be opened
2. via "inbound bookings"
Go to Maritime Logistics - Common - Inbound bookings and select your booking:
Here, you can also put a checkmark at "show suppressed" and also "open origin" if more details are needed:
